Sheffield Clinical Research Facility

The Sheffield Clinical Research Facility (CRF) at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital site is currently in the final phase. The refurbishment of 700 m2 on O floor is well underway and scheduled to open in October 2006. The CRF is a resource available to all clinical researchers providing a specialist environment for the conduct of high quality clinical research. Patients and healthy volunteers are guaranteed that research undertaken in the CRF has met all the legislative, governance and ethical requirements that ensure participant safety. The Facility Manager and the Lead Nurse and their team of clinical and non-clinical research support staff will work extensively with Trust and University Investigators to ensure full utilisation of all the CRF resources.

To check on the latest developments and progress of the CRF access the CRF Web site.
